Breathing exercises to lower stress

Here are breathing techniques you can try right now!

Box Breath:

Inhale for 4 count, hold for 4 count, exhale for 4 count, hold for 4 count.

Thich Nhat Hanh breathing:

“Breathing in, I am healthy. Breathing out, I am peaceful.”

Yoga Ujaii Breath:

Breathing in and out through nose, exhale with a soft snoring sound as air brushes past the back of your throat.

Book Breathing:

Lying on back, place a light book on your belly. Close your eyes and take deep breaths. Feel your belly expand with your inhale as your diaphragm pushes down. Exhale completely, feel the weight of the book on your abdomen helping you exhale.

PNS breath: 

Lying on belly, rest your head on your hands so you have room to breathe. Inhale for a count of 4, exhale for a count of 8. Feel your breath expand the back side of your body.
